The Fourth of July is so much fun to celebrate especially because it’s one of the only major warm weather holidays we have in the United States! For me it always marks a turning point in the summer… after the fourth time seems to fly by. It was a perfect weekend as far as weather goes: dry, sunny and warm, but not too hot. We had a really relaxed day and opted to drive out into the country to watch fireworks because we couldn’t choose a show. This ended up being a lot of fun because we could see them in all directions and we didn’t have to fight traffic afterwards. Independence day is pretty much the pinnacle of how exciting life gets in the Midwest during summer 😉 What are your favorite Fourth of July traditions?
