double up on denim

While on the hunt for the perfect denim jacket I came across this one from Madewell and decided to give it a try. As soon it arrived and I tried it on I didn’t want to take it off! It’s a great way to transition summer pieces like this lace-up tee into a fall appropriate outfit. Try tying a jacket around your waist to break up an otherwise boring outfit. There are so many ways to wear a denim jacket, and I’ve yet to find an outfit it didn’t make better. I personally can’t wait to throw it over sweaters once it gets a bit colder outside.

One of my favorite things to do is double up on denim. It can be a hard look to pull off, but when done right I think it’s timeless! A fail proof way of doing this is by pairing a lighter top or jacket with a dark pair of denim that has clean lines. It’s definitely not the only way to achieve the look, but you really can’t go wrong with this formula. What are some of your favorite ways to wear denim?
