I’ll be the first to admit that I’m usually drawn to bold colors when it comes to clothing; however, I’ve been finding myself appreciating the versatility of neutral pieces a lot more over the years. It’s with good reason that they say neutrals should be the foundation of any wardrobe. What makes neutrals so great is their potential to be worn many different ways, not only with each other, but also with brighter colors. For example, the white, grey, and navy in my outfit keep the vibrant pink of my purse from being overwhelming. In addition, neutral pieces will stand the test of time. Trends may come and go, but a well made item in one of these colors will always be in style. It’s hard to go wrong with classics such as black, white, grey, tan, and navy. When deciding which neutrals to choose, consider which ones will best complement your complexion and other the colors in your closet–but ultimately go with what makes you feel confident.
