In my last post I shared a blush trench with feminine touches, but today I wanted to share a much different piece of spring outerwear. This longline tan trench features cropped sleeves and a relaxed fit, which is a welcome change from my other coats. I had been admiring it for awhile, but I didn’t want to pay full price when I was doubtful that the loose fit would work for me. However, when it went on sale at Nordstrom (40% off) I decided to give it a try, and the moment I put it on I didn’t want to take it off. Much to my surprise, I really loved the relaxed fit; the belt accentuates the waist in a way that keeps it from being overwhelming on a shorter frame. Wearing this trench makes every outfit feel so easy and comfortable. For the level of quality, I don’t think you can beat the sale price!
A note about the fit…Topshop usually runs small compared to US sizing, but this particular trench runs large. Because of this, I would recommend going with your normal US size in this trench and not your regular Topshop size 🙂
