Memorial Day Weekend is the unofficial start of summer and we headed to the city to celebrate. Saturday was one of the loveliest days we have had so far this year, but unfortunately we didn’t end up with enough time to make our way to the lake. I had an appointment to see my dress for the first time since it arrived at Ultimate Bride; Tyler, of course, did not join! I picked out my dress last July and was pleasantly surprised to find I loved it even more than I remembered. After my try on appointment, Tyler and I enjoyed dinner with friends at Eduardo’s Enotecca followed by rooftop drinks. I always love admiring Chicago from above at night. We finally made it to North Avenue Beach shortly before leaving on Sunday. Although it was a gloomy day, this location still looks beautiful thanks to the Chicago skyline. Wearing all white is one of my favorite, not to mention one of the easiest, summertime styles. I accessorized with this breezy striped scarf, my go to white bag, and these pink cat-eye sunglasses. I try to be practical when purchasing staple items, but I could not resist these feminine frames! Sometimes you just have to have fun 😉
